Nan Nuo Shan - A good choice for a daily drinker. Some papery notes coming in on the front end showing that it is starting to age. Balanced with notes of bitter greens and dried papaya. Slight huigan (returning sweentess, used to refer to the lingering sweetness found in the back of the throat) and a good kick.
Origin: Ban Po Xin Zhai, Xishuangbanna Prefecture, Yunnan Province, China
Ai Lao Shan - Now that this tea has had a chance to age for a year, it is starting show some subtle changes. There is an added heft to the tea's flavor and body. It is still very pleasant to drink from the first cup to the last. Good body, structure, flavor and finish. Prominent vegetal and floral notes, with hints of honey and tobacco.

Bu Lang Shan - Bold and brash as should be expected with tea from Bulang. Full bodied and bitter, with good structure and balanced flavor. In its second year, some hay and honey notes are creeping on in. A good tea for those who want to experience puer outside of the large scale factory productions and not break the bank.

Brewing Suggestions: These teas are best enjoyed when drank in a gongfu style, using a porcelain gaiwan or semi porous pot. Teapot brewing instructions are also available below.
Heat water to boiling (212F/100C). 10g of tea per 6oz of water. Rinse tea before first steep. First steep for 10-20 seconds. Add 5-10 seconds for each additional steep.
We recommend using spring or filtered water. Heat to 195F/90C. Use 2.5g / 1.5 tsp of tea for 12 oz of water. Steep 5-7 minutes.
Storage: All of our Puers are stored in a temperature and humidity controlled space. The humidity is at 70% and the temperature is at 70F. Fresh air is circulated through a ventilation system and teas are checked on 3-4 times a week.
After purchasing any of our Puers, we recommend you giving the tea at least a few days to settle after you have received it before drinking it.
